How it is diagnosed
Assessment includes examination, scrotal ultrasound and tumour marker blood tests. If cancer is suspected, staging CT and orchidectomy through the groin are arranged promptly.
Treatment
Treatment depends on the stage and type of tumour and may include surveillance, chemotherapy or radiotherapy after surgery, coordinated with oncology.
